SAN GREGORIO DE NIGUA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC – AUGUST, 2014 Local residents began to smell an unbearable odour from the canal, which attracted their attention. When they looked inside, they discovered the body of a young girl in a state of decomposition. Police identified her as 16-year-old Estafany Laureciana, who had been missing for several days.
Her boyfriend, 26-year-old Deibi Villa Colón, also arrived at the scene. The sight of his rotten girlfriend caused him to go home where he committed suicide.
