MANAUS, BRAZIL – NOVEMBER 4, 2023 A man working for the military police shot and killed his wife, 27-year-old Maria Camila Souza Fritz, in cold blood. He shot her point-blank in the forehead.
According to the girl’s parents, the two had been a couple for over a decade. They allegedly had constant arguments and the man regularly physically assaulted her because of his chronic jealousy. This was confirmed by their neighbours.

The reason for the murder was that Maria had finally decided to leave her husband. He could not bear the end of their relationship and preferred to murder her.
On that fateful night, Maria texted her friend asking for help. Unfortunately, she didn’t read her messages until half an hour later, which was too late. Maria was dead by this time.
