Cyclist is assassinated by two hitmen on motorcycle

MACAPÁ, AMAPÁ, BRAZIL – APRIL 1, 2026 Incident took place in the Jardim Marco Zero district in the southern part of the city. The man, identified as 23-year-old Andreson de Souza, was attacked by two hitmen while returning home from work on his bicycle. They ambushed him on a motorcycle, with one of them controlling the vehicle while the other opened fire without mercy. Emergency services were called to the scene, but Andreson was pronounced dead. The attackers fled, but police managed to apprehend them the same day.
