RAEBARELI, INDIA – DECEMBER 6, 2023 Arun Singh worked as a doctor at a local hospital. He was reportedly struggling with depression for a long time. When he decided to commit suicide, he took his wife and his two children, a 5-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl, with him.
He injected them with drugs which rendered them unconscious. Then he smashed their heads in, killing them. He then hanged himself.
If you’re thinking about suicide, please stop and recognize that your pain is not permanent, but this step would be. It may feel like there’s no other way, but there is hope, even if it’s hard to see right now. Your feelings are temporary, and with help, they can pass.
