SANTA MARIA, RIO GRANDE DO SUL, BRAZIL – JANUARY 31, 2026 64-year-old VW Golf driver found himself in a critical situation when his hood unexpectedly opened while driving. He reacted as best as he could, stayed calm, and gradually slowed down to a stop. Afterward, he exited the vehicle and tried to fix the problem. However, a fast-moving Fiat Toro driver failed to notice the obstacles on the road and collided with him from behind, sending the elderly man flying off the bridge. Tragically, he succumbed to his injuries.
