SAN FRANCISCO DE MACORÍS, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC – MARCH 19, 2025 Tragedy occurred in the Los Jardines sector, where an elderly woman identified as 61-year-old Milagros Altagracia Jiménez and a 3-year-old girl, whose name has not been released (not pictured), lost their lives.
According to available information, the horrific act was committed by 28-year-old Eddy de Jesús Camarena Martínez. The victims were his mother and daughter. He used a machete in the attack, with which he literally hacked his mother’s face into a pulp. He then killed his daughter and injured his partner, who managed to survive the attack.

The perpetrator was apprehended after the incident and is currently facing charges of double homicide and undergoing police investigation. His motive was never made public.
