TABOC SUR, OROQUIETA CITY, PHILIPPINES – MAY 18, 2017 Rowena Ayos was riding a scooter with her friend. Someone started shooting at them. Her friend was shot, but he survived. Rowena wasn’t so lucky. She was hit in the neck, the bullet severed her spinal cord and she died. Motive unknown.
