CESAR DEPARTMENT, COLOMBIA – OCTOBER 26, 2026 Four people died and another 22 were injured in a serious bus accident involving a vehicle transporting the musical group of Colombian singer Kbeto Zuleta. The accident occurred on the road between the towns of Pueblo Nuevo and Bosconia. The bus operated by Expreso Súper Star crashed into the protective railing of a bridge and subsequently fell into the Ariguaní River.

Among the victims were singer and backing vocalist Geovanny Lobo and guitarist Harold Santana. Kbeto Zuleta himself suffered devastating injuries in the accident and lost his left leg. Doctors subsequently attempted to save his other lower limb. The singer was also intubated due to lung injuries and hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the Sinais Vitais clinic in Bosconia.
According to the testimony of the bassist performing under the name Yorky, Kbeto ended up on the riverbank after the bus fell. One of the band members administered first aid and used an improvised tourniquet to stop the massive bleeding. According to the witness, this intervention may have saved his life.
The cause of the accident was not immediately established. Investigators were examining, among other possibilities, whether the driver had fallen asleep while driving.
