JARDIM FLOR DA MONTANHA, SAO PAULO, BRAZIL A 39-year-old man who made a living as a personal trainer killed his wife Juliane with several stab wounds.
He left her body lying lifeless in the bedroom of their 7th floor apartment. He then went to the balcony, broke through the safety net and climbed up to the 14th floor. There he shot himself in the head with a gun and fell down. He probably wanted to be doubly sure.
The couple had a five-year-old daughter together, but that night she slept with her grandmother. Their friends testified that the man had recently suffered from depression after his mother died of cancer.
