Hand completely destroyed by meat grinder

Man’s hand became trapped in a meat grinder while he was carelessly operating it. The machine did what it was designed to do and completely mangled his hand. He was rushed to the hospital with the grinder still attached, where surgeons carefully freed his limb from the mechanism. Unfortunately, injuries this severe are often irreversible, and he almost certainly required an amputation.
