LOS ANGELES, USA The ‘Hillside Strangler’, later the ‘Hillside Stranglers’ was the media nickname of two American serial killers who terrorized Los Angeles between October 1977 and February 1978. They got the nickname because they strangled many of their victims.
Only one person was initially thought to be responsible for the murders. It was later revealed that there were two killers. They were cousins Kenneth Bianchi and Angelo Buono Jr.
During their activity, they committed the murders of 10 women and girls aged between 12 and 28. They were mostly kidnapped, raped and tortured.
