SALAHUDDIN PROVINCE, IRAQ – DECEMBER 14, 2025 Jihadists from the notorious terrorist group ISIS carried out an armed attack on a house in the village of Al-Budour. Inside, they assassinated a man named Mukhtar, who worked as a spy for the government and provided them with information regarding ISIS operations and presence.
ISIS’s peak period of “glory” in Iraq and Syria is long past. Currently, they operate more as sporadic and poorly organized cells in the country. From time to time, they manage to carry out attacks such as raids or assassinations. However, they cannot yet be considered defeated. The ideology and memories of past glory still persist in some people, which can pose a potential security threat.
All videos and content published on this platform related to ISIS are in no way intended as a promotion of terrorism or this organization. We strongly condemn all forms of terrorism and extremist activities, including those associated with ISIS.
ISIS does not represent Islam. Islam is a religion of peace and compassion, whose values and teachings have nothing to do with the violent acts committed by this organization. Our goal is to inform and educate, not to spread hatred or support violence.
