CONGO The observant townspeople managed to stop the kidnappers of two young women. They were loaded into the back seats of the car, unconscious and poisoned. Both had vomit marks on them.
Kidnappings are a daily occurrence in the Congo. There are many radical political groups operating in the country, which are trying to take over the territory controlled by the government. In 2022, a woman was kidnapped by the Codeco group in the Congo and when she was rescued, she claimed that her captors tied her up, beat her, repeatedly raped her and even forced her to eat human flesh.
