PAKISTAN Member of the Pakistani Army’s Special Services Group (SSG) was shot and killed by members of the terrorist organization Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan. They proudly recorded the incident on video and did not hesitate to continue firing at his body even after he was already dead.
TTP is sometimes referred to as the Pakistani Taliban. They are ideologically very close to the Afghan Taliban and seek to impose an extremely strict interpretation of Islamic law throughout Pakistan. To achieve their goals, they use armed attacks, bombings, suicide attacks, and other forms of terrorism. Their targets are often members of the security forces, but civilians are sometimes targeted as well.
