PHNOM PENH, CAMBODIA – NOVEMBER 24, 2011 The 48-year-old woman, who made her living as an incense seller, was relaxing on the terrace of her house when a sadistic rapist broke in. He brutally raped and strangled her. During the rape, he stabbed her with a large military knife with such intensity that he cut off part of her arm.
Her body was discovered in the morning by her neighbours. The neighbours testified that they were likely to be traumatised for life by such a shocking discovery.
