OAXACA, MEXICO In the desert of the rural area of the city of Oaxaca de Juárez, the discarded body of a woman was found. Her body showed a total of 11 stab wounds, one of them in the abdominal area so wide that an intestine had protruded. Her throat was slit. The victim had her shirt partially pulled up and was wearing no lower clothing except for a thong. Forensic experts later confirmed that she had been raped.
No blood traces large enough to match the nature of her injuries were found at the scene. It can be assumed that she was murdered elsewhere and that the perpetrator or perpetrators simply dumped her at the location where she was discovered.
