MALLORCA, SAN LEONARDO, NUEVA ECIJA, PHILIPPINES – JULY 3, 2016 Joana Maria Ortiz Mangilit, 26, was found dead in a grassy area near her home. Her hands were tied behind her back and her head showed gunshot wound caused by a close range shot.

Police officers found out that she had only been released from prison a few days before her death. She was there for illegal narcotics trafficking. So it’s likely that her murder is related to that.
