OKE AREGBA, ABEOKUTA, NIGERIA – JANUARY 29, 2022 4 young men aged 17-20 were arrested by the police for murdering the girlfriend of one of them. Her body was found headless and wrapped in a plastic bag.

The victim was identified as Rofiat and it was found that one of the attackers – Soilu was her boyfriend. The motive for the murder was a strange ritual intended to secure money for the attackers. Part of the ritual was the burning of the victim’s head.
