SANTA RITA, BRAZIL – OCTOBER 10, 2013 A 16-year-old student identified as Maria Isabel was murdered in a square in the Tibiri neighbourhood of Santa Rita (near João Pessoa) while she was on the phone. The killer approached her from behind and shot her in the head. When she fell to the ground, he shot her five more times. Then he got on his motorcycle and rode away. Motive unknown.
