BELÉM, PARÁ, BRAZIL – APRIL 24, 2026 Fatal accident occurred on Senador Lemos Avenue, at the corner of Passagem Gastão Street, in the Sacramenta neighborhood. The 14-year-old Clara Yasmin Sousa da Costa was hit, run over, and dragged by a Fiat Toro pickup truck. The accident occurred while she was riding her bicycle in a bike lane. She succumbed to her injuries at the scene.

Female Fiat driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police. She is currently charged with negligent homicide. The police investigation is still ongoing.
