TEFÉ, BRAZIL – FEBRUARY 15, 2016 A huge tragedy occurred on one of the beaches of the Tefé river, which flows into the Amazon. Three young sisters drowned here together. They were identified as 9-year-old Pedrina Ferreira de Oliveira, 10-year-old Paulina Ferreira de Oliveira and 13-year-old Paula Ferreira de Oliveira. According to the police, the youngest of the sisters broke the canoe to get to the middle of the river. But there her vessel began to sink. When the other two sisters saw this, they jumped into the river to save her.
