TIBET, CHINA Sky burial, in Chinese 葬天, is a traditional burial in Tibetan territory. They return the dead bodies back to nature by chopping them up and giving the meat to vultures as food. This is also because Tibet is on a plateau and burying them in the ground would be difficult.
