SÃO LUÍS, MARANHÃO, BRAZIL – JANUARY 24, 2025 Dead body of a young man was found in the rural area of São Luís, specifically in Morada do Sol. He was lying by the side of a dirt road with his hands tied behind his back and a gunshot wound to his head.
The victim has been identified as 25-year-old Luís Felipe Lopes Ferreira. He was working as a transport application driver. He lived a sporadic life and did not have a single criminal record. Moments before his death, he called his mother that his car had been stolen.
The motive for the murder, or execution, remains unknown at this time and the incident is under investigation by police.
