JAIPUR, RAJASTHAN, INDIA – NOVEMBER 3, 2025 Truck driver sped recklessly along Lohamandi Road, hitting pedestrians, motorcycles, and vehicles – basically anything in his path. He allegedly got behind the wheel heavily intoxicated. The incident claimed 19 lives and injured many others.
Witnesses described that despite repeated collisions, which he must have noticed, he continued to drive fast and recklessly. The chaos only ended when the truck hit a larger obstacle and came to a stop.
Rescue teams and police immediately arrived at the scene, extracting victims from the wreckage and transporting the injured to nearby hospitals. The truck driver was detained and taken to the hospital to confirm that he had consumed alcohol.
