MEXICO Two young women were ambushed by an armed hitman who opened fire on them without hesitation. One of them, identified as Valeria, was struck 15 times – in the chest, face, and arm. Her friend, Bitllit, was shot 4 times. Despite immediate first aid attempts by bystanders, both tragically died at the scene. The hitman fled. Although the results of the police investigation were never made public, it is suspected that their murder was linked to drug trafficking.
