MYANMAR (BURMA) Maran Lu Ra, 21, and Tangbau Hkown Nan Tsin, 20, were both teachers at the village primary school. On the morning of 20 January 2015, they were found raped and murdered in their church dormitory. The bodies of both girls bore marks of being beaten with a blunt object. One of the girls had knife wounds on her face.

Several local residents saw members of the Burmese army at the scene. They are the prime suspects in this crime.
