BHOPAL, MADHYA PRADESH, INDIA – MARCH 31, 2026 Security camera on platform 6 at Bhopal railway station captured an accident involving a young man. He was rushing to catch a train at the last moment and attempted to board it even as it had already started moving and reached a speed of about 25 mph (40 kph). He suddenly lost his balance and fell into the gap between the train and the platform.
A quick response from railway staff helped save him. He is currently still hospitalized in critical condition at Hamidia Hospital.
