GUYANA – JANUARY 18, 2026 24-year-old Jamal Bourne, also known as “Skinny,” died after accidentally shooting himself in the head during a live broadcast on social media.

Bourne was streaming with other people and handling a firearm when it accidentally discharged, striking him in the head. The broadcast continued, and the recording later captured the screams and crying of people who were at the scene.
At the time of his death, Bourne was wanted by police in connection with a murder that occurred in September 2024 in the Pouderoyen area of Guyana. Police had been searching for him along with another suspect, and according to local media, Bourne had been evading arrest for some time.
