MANAUS, BRAZIL – DECEMBER 30, 2016 Woman’s corpse was found in the woods in the western part of Manaus near Avenida Brasil. She was half-naked, and in the early stages of decomposition. The inquest found that she had been raped before her death, and possibly after. She was killed by strangulation. Woods where she was found, according to locals, serves as a haven for drug addicts to use drugs undisturbed.
