BONAO, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC – OCTOBER, 2017 Carmen de Jesús Fernández, 43, who lived in the Villa Liberación neighbourhood, was found dead with signs of violence. Her trousers were pulled down and she had a deep cut on her neck. A scalpel was found at the scene. Witnesses said that the woman was last seen fleeing the house after having a violent argument with her partner “Rafelito”. It was confirmed that she had been raped.
