DAVAO CITY, PHILIPPINES – OCTOBER 4, 2017 Odessa Refamonte, 39, was shot dead by a gunman on a motorcycle on the streets of Davao City. She was involved in fraudulent labor recruitment into Japan. She took a fee from people to broker the necessary documents and then never contacted them again. Police think the murder is related.
