SANTA CRUZ DO CAPIBARIBE, BRAZIL – JULY 8, 2009 A 14-year-old girl, Daniela Vieira da Silva, was murdered in the São Miguel neighbourhood. She was in bed with her 18-year-old boyfriend. Suddenly, two gunmen knocked on the front door and when Daniela opened it, they announced that it was a robbery. They threw her on the bed next to her boyfriend and shot her.
When detectives arrived at the scene, they found that the young couple had dozens of kilograms of drugs in their apartment, which they were trafficking. Daniela’s murder was probably related.
