RIO PRETO DA EVA, BRAZIL – NOVEMBER 19, 2018 At kilometer 21 of the AM-010 highway, local residents who had gone into the woods to hunt found the dead body of a woman. Her clothes were torn so that she was completely naked. Her legs were spread wide apart. The wound on her neck was so deep that she was almost decapitated. She also had another stab wound in her chest and torture marks on her back.

Based on the ID card found, police confirmed her identity as 27-year-old Jomara de Souza Gomes. It was also confirmed that she had been raped. The two perpetrators with whom the victim was last seen leaving the bar were also caught relatively quickly. They were a 28-year-old and a 29-year-old man.
