Couple disturbed a home bulgar who had broken into their house in the middle of the night. They were brutally attacked with a machete, including their young daughter.
The woman suffered the most extensive injuries. The intensity of the machete attack against her was delivered with such force that several fingers on her hand were amputated. In addition, that Bulgarian cut her in the face and neck. She bled to death at the scene.
The man also suffered serious injuries, but at the time the police arrived he still showed some vital signs. Soon after being transported to hospital he too, unfortunately, died.
Shockingly, that bulgar also injured their little daughter, who had a cutting wound on her back. She fortunately survived.
If you hear an intruder in your home in the middle of the night, the first thing you must do is remain calm. If you startle them you may put them into a stressed state in which they will act recklessly. Your life and the life of your family is the most valuable thing you have – more valuable than the whole house or the property in it. If possible, quietly call the emergency number in a calm, soft voice and barricade yourself in a room. If there is a safe way to get out, experts advise running to a neighbor or to a public place. If direct contact with the robber occurs, never look them directly in the eyes. Not only does that seem aggressive, but they may think you intend to identify them. Speak to them in a calm tone and tell them you have no weapons and only want to leave.
