MORRINHOS, GOIÁS, BRAZIL – JANUARY 18, 2025 Aggressive patient was taken to the intensive care unit of Morrinhos City Hospital. He broke a window, grabbed a large shard and threatened a nurse with it, holding her hostage and threatening to cut her. During this, police officers arrived at the scene and took advantage of the opportune moment when the nurse started to defend herself and got free. One of the officers fired without hesitation.
Although the assailant was hit only once, it was fatal. Despite immediate medical attention, he died shortly thereafter. The nurse suffered no injuries except mental harm.
