LAGOA DOS GATOS, PERNAMBUCO, BRAZIL – OCTOBER, 2024 Brutal murder shocked the community when 59-year-old security guard Erinaldo Ferreira da Silva was killed while working at an event site.
According to the police, Erinaldo was attacked by two gunmen on a motorcycle, who fired at least 27 shots from a 9mm handgun. A total of 27 casings were found at the scene. The incident happened quickly, leaving the guard with no chance to escape or defend himself.
Erinaldo Ferreira da Silva had a serious criminal past. He had been involved in crimes such as kidnappings and membership in organized crime. This past leads the police to believe the murder could have been an act of retribution or a result of conflicts stemming from his previous activities.
