BUTLER, PENNSYLVANIA, USA – JULY 13, 2024 Former President and presidential candidate Donald Trump was shot by an assassin during his election campaign.
The assailant fired from a nearby rooftop with an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle from where he had a good view of the stage. Some witnesses say he fired at least five shots. One of which hit Trump in the ear while he was at the lectern. One shot killed a random person in the crowd.

The assailant was identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks. He was almost immediately killed by police snipers. Shortly afterwards, his death photos appeared on the internet.

Donald Trump reacted very quickly to the whole situation and let photographer took a photo of him with a bloody face, a raised fist and an American flag in the background. This helped make him look strong in the public eye and will probably win him the whole election.
