SALVADOR, BRAZIL – AUGUST 18, 2023 27-year-old Ianca Lorrane Jesus Maia was shot dead in her home in the suburb of Periperi in the city of Salvador. Ianca has made a successful living as an influencer. She had almost 70,000 followers on social networks, where she performed as Yanca Maia.

According to witnesses, 3 armed men entered her house and then shots rang out. The police, who arrived at the scene, could already state the death. The motive for the murder is still unknown and is now the subject of a police investigation.
