The man had lived for over 40 years with a giant tumour that had gradually grown out of his neck. Eventually, doctors removed it. At the time of removal, the tumor weighed 7,5 kilograms (16,5 pounds) and was twice the size of his head. The man lived in a remote area and walked three days to get medical attention.
