MARCOS MOURA, SANTA RITA, BRAZIL – JANUARY 4, 2012 A 14-year-old teenager, Alessandra da Silva Lima, was found executed not far outside the city. Someone had shot her in the neck with a 12-gauge shotgun.
A few hours later, her 45-year-old boyfriend, Damião Vitório da Silva, was also found executed. He had been shot five times with a pistol.
Alessandra’s mother said her daughter spent the vast majority of her time with her boyfriend. Both were reportedly addicted to drugs.
