DIPOLOG CITY, ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE, PHILIPPINES – APRIL 7, 2017 Drug addict Abertem Rey Bejer Paz regularly sexually abused his 16-year-old daughter Zaharra Myzza Paz. She tried to report the whole thing to the authorities, but when he found out, he became enraged and murdered her.

A forensic autopsy later revealed that Zaharra was pregnant by him. He was arrested and put on trial.
