CAUCAIA, BRAZIL – OCTOBER 19, 2019 A teen girl was shot multiple times as she walked down the street in her home neighborhood. The perpetrators were shot from a car and have not been identified. The exact age of the victim varies from different sources. She was between 14 and 16 years old. Her name was Edwirgem Rodrigues.

The motive for the murder is believed to be drugs. One of her friends wrote in a Facebook comment under her photo something like, “I’m sad to see you like this, but I warned you not to leave the house this week.”
