Neighbors, who heard screams and calls for help, dared to intervene and entered the house. Outside, they found Julio César Tapia Martínez lying in a pool of blood, showing no signs of life. Wendy was found inside with serious injuries.
The injured woman was transported to Sinaís Vitais clinic, where she remains in serious condition, her life at risk. Palacio fled the scene and is currently being sought by national police units.
