CHEUNG KEB, KANDAL STUENG, CAMBODIA – OCTOBER 6, 2023 The gruesome murder shook the entire village and later the whole of Cambodia. 36-year-old Men Sam Ang brutally murdered his wife, 30-year-old Khoeun Sreyleak, and 2-year-old daughter Oeun Chanseima. He almost severed his wife’s head from her body with a knife and cut off his daughter completely.

The motive for the murder is believed to be the man’s jealousy. Witnesses who gathered around the house said that Khoeun had just returned from the office where she had gone to ask for a divorce.
Men Sam Ang fled the scene and is currently still on the run. The police are intensively searching for him.
