PHUKET, THAILAND – APRIL 25, 2017 The 21-year-old father, Wuthisan, hanged his 11-month-old daughter and then himself during a Facebook live broadcast. The incident took place in Phuket’s Thalang district at an abandoned hotel called The Peninsula.
The motive for the widespread suicide was an argument with his equally aged partner. She allegedly told him that she wanted to divorce him. Police knew about his live broadcast but were unable to locate his whereabouts in time. When they arrived at the scene, they found only two hanging bodies.
