Mpox, by its full name monkeypox, Latin Orthopoxvirus simiae, is a viral disease that causes symptoms of acute viral infection and a rash resembling pimples, or pimples. The disease is prevalent mainly on the African continent and is transmitted from animals to humans. But transmission can also occur between people.
