BROTAS, SALVADOR, BRAZIL – OCTOBER 24, 2013 Two young women were walking on Av. Ogunjá in the Vila Viver Melhor neighbourhood on a staircase when someone opened fire on them. One of the women fell dead on the spot, the other was wounded.
The motive for the shooting is not entirely clear. Neither of the women was local, although both had been in the area for 20 days.
