Philippine governor was shot dead along with 5 other civilians

PHILIPPINES – MARCH 4, 2023 No fewer than 6 men armed with assault rifles and dressed in military uniforms attacked Philippine Governor Roel Degamo, fatally wounding him with a bullet to the head. This happened on the occasion when the governor was on an official visit to his native village. Besides the governor, 5 other civilians were also shot dead.
