CORONEL SAPUCAIA, BRAZIL – DECEMBER 18, 2017 Luzia Antunes, 20, was found stabbed and slashed to death in a wooded area. It was discovered that Luiza was two months pregnant, which may have been linked to her murder. The investigation revealed that she had a sexual relationship with a married man. Both he and his wife threatened her to have an abortion and even offered her the sum of BRL 4,000 (equivalent to USD 830). However, she refused. Last but not least, Luiza was threatened by a third person, namely her boyfriend, a drug dealer, who found out about her affair.
