CANCÚN, MEXICO Officers arrived in the Paraíso Maya neighbourhood to deal with a report of domestic violence. Inside the house they found a psycho man armed with a machete making erratic movements. At first it looked like he was trying to harm himself, but all of a sudden he attacked a police officer. The officer responded by shooting and killing the attacker.
The assailant was identified as Luis Enrique N. He was found to be heavily intoxicated. The intervening officer sustained injuries to two fingers on his hand and had to be transported to the hospital.
